) - Students in the culinary arts program at Davidson High School have been facing a challenge for the past two years because their on-campus kitchen has been undergoing upgrades. Local restaurateur Noell Broughton has opened his kitchen to the students and is teaching them techniques for the Cajun cookoff next weekend in Mobile.

The students will be part of the Cunningham Bounds cooking team. “It means a lot...taught us a lot about networking and cooking and we’ve done a lot of that and we’re actually the first high school to participate in like ten years since it started and kind of excited,” said Aiden Harris, a member of the Davidson culinary arts team.
