BREAKING: David Walliams and Matt Lucas apologise over Little Britain controversy
have issued an apology over controversial aspects of Little Britain.due to out-of-date racial stereotypes and use of blackface.
Taking to Twitter, Walliams said: ‘Matt & I have both spoken publicly in recent years of our regret that we played characters of other races.Lucas also echoed the same sentiments. The duo played characters of various races throughout their time starring in both Little Britain and Come Fly With Me. David and I have both spoken publicly in recent years of our regret that we played characters of other races. Once again we want to make it clear that it was wrong and we are very sorry.Matt & I have both spoken publicly in recent years of our regret that we played characters of other races.
