David went on to admit that, at the time, he felt like “James Bond” because of how he would receive tips on where to find the people he needed to serve. David then cautiously shared his ‘80s brush with fame, telling Stephen: “Once… Oh man, thank goodness I’ve never run into him since, but… I served Rod Stewart.”“I don’t even know if he knows; I don’t think he knows,” David said, before adding: “He knows now!”
David did not reveal who Rod, now 80, was divorcing at the time, however, the music icon split from his first wife, Alana Stewart, in 1984 — the same year that David turned 18.Rod then married Rachel Hunter in 1990, who he was with until 2006.
