Former Leeds United midfielder David Prutton has had his say on the Wednesday night clash at Elland Road when the Whites will welcome QPR
Leeds United should be ready to face a Queens Park Rangers side that are adept at sitting back and 'frustrating' their opposition on Wednesday night, according to former Whites midfielder David Prutton. The use of low-block tactics is something Leeds had to adapt to in the opening weeks of the Championship season, with the goalless draw against Sheffield Wednesday before the last international break a classic of the genre.
Daniel Farke's side will be looking to quickly bounce back from Saturday's disappointing 3-1 defeat at Southampton at the weekend and although Prutton has talked up Hoops manager Gareth Ainsworth's ability to organise and frustrate, he still backs Leeds to get back on track and claim the points."For all the talk of Leeds’ attacking prowess, they still throw in too many performances like the one against Southampton on Saturday," Prutton writes in his Sky Sports predictions.
Prutton predicts a 2-0 win for the hosts on Wednesday as Leeds get set for an Elland Road double-header this week, with Bristol City the visitors on Saturday, ahead of the October international break.
