“We remain the underdogs. We need over a dozen seats to win. So it is a big task but we’re united, we’re focussed, we're hungry, we're disciplined, and we want to serve Queensland and bring real change,” Mr Crisafulli told Sky News Australia host Peta Credlin on Monday night. “But let me make this point: he also said that somehow that we've tried to sensationalise youth crime. Tell that to the victims.
In a press conference on Sunday Mr Miles conceded the vote in Ipswich West was “very bad” but said turning around the government’s fortunes would take time.“This is the voters of Inala and Ipswich sending us a message that they want to see us deliver more for them and that’s what I’m determined to do.”
