Students at David Brearley Middle-High School in Kenilworth will have an early dismissal on Tuesday after a pipe collapse rendered the main building's bathrooms unusable. Bathrooms are available in an annex building across the parking lot, and portable toilets will also be provided outside the main building.

Students at David Brearley Middle-High School in Kenilworth will have an early dismissal on Tuesday because there are no functioning bathrooms in the main building due to a pipe collapse, officials said. There are bathrooms available across the parking lot in an annex building, Superintendent Jeremy Davies said in a notice to the community. Portable single-use toilets will also be available outside the building.

“The health and sanitary conditions of our school facilities are top priorities; obviously, a lack of restroom facilities poses challenges to the normal operations of a school building,” Davies wrote. “The purpose of the early dismissal is to reduce the needs for bathroom usage and to eliminate the water use due to the needs of the cafeteria.”If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
