David Beckham and his family attended day one of Wimbledon, with the former England footballer treating his mum Sandra to a day at the All England Club. The Beckhams' invite to the Royal Box wasn't extended to David's son Romeo and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, who had to settle for cheaper seats. Other celebrities in attendance included Tess Daly, Amanda Holden, and Maura Higgins, who all made stylish appearances at the event.

David Beckham was back in the Royal Box for day one of Wimbledon on Monday, treating his mum Sandra to a day at the All England Club.

The Beckhams' invite to the Royal Box wasn't extended to David's son Romeo and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull who were also spotted making their arrival, but had to settle for cheap seats. Elsewhere, Tess Daly continued to sport her wedding and engagement ring while leading the celebrity glamour as Wimbledon kicked off. The newly-single Strictly star announced last month that she was splitting from husband Vernon Kay, yet has maintained her marital jewels.

She looked sensational in a lace gown as she arrived at the sporting event alongside her business partner and pal Gayle Lawton while Amanda Holden was in attendance to inject yet more glamour into the chic day out. Maura Higgins made a bold statement in a tennis inspired look as she wore white sling-backs with tennis balls pierced into the heels - in a look similar to Zendaya's style while promoting 2024's Challengers.

They were joined by the opera singer Katherine Jenkins, 46, in wearing white looks in a nod to the tennis tournament's launch day, while Pixie Lott wore a thigh-skimming mini and Katherine Ryan joined her tennis wear-clad husband Bobby Koostra. Isla Fisher took to social media to share snaps before arriving at the big day.

David was in great spirits waving to the crowd after a busy week which saw him watch England's World Cup match in New Jersey on Saturday. David and Sandra took their VIP seats alongside Mary Berry, with David's mum and the TV star getting on famously. Actor and Wimbledon regular Mark Rylance was also spotted nearby in the packed Royal Box. Romeo looked suave in a brown suit with a white T-shirt whilst Kim sported a glam white dress.

Katherine Jenkins was seated in the row behind the Beckhams along with Alexander Armstrong. Romeo and Kim didn't seem to mind the lack of VIP seats, grinning away as they enjoyed the action from the row behind. Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes were also in attendance. Tess Daly continued to sport her wedding and engagement ring while leading the celebrity glamour as Wimbledon kicked off on Monday.

Amanda Holden opted for a kooky pinstriped two-piece. Maura Higgins made a bold statement in a tennis inspired look as she wore white sling-backs with tennis balls pierced into the heels. Other stars at the event included Amanda Holden, who wowed in a pinstripe two-piece as she posed up a storm outside the courts. Amanda's Heart FM co-host Ashley Roberts looked incredible in a white mini dress with buttons extending along the bust.

Ronan and Storm Keating opted for complementary ensembles, with Ronan in a cream suit and the model in a white shirt and maxi skirt. Ashley James went against the grain of the day, as she shunned the favoured all-white looks of the stars and instead wore a pink slip dress with a white blazer. Rachel Stevens opted for a beach-style look, with a Bardot dress with a statement frill paired with a stone-coloured clutch bag and shoes.

Katherine Jenkins looked stunning in a white dress with blue spots. Katherine was joined by her husband Andrew Levitas. Pixie Lott showed off her lithe legs as she posed with husband Oliver Cheshire. Catherine Ryan opted for elegance while her husband Bobby Kootstra opted for a kooky tennis-inspired look.

Isla Fisher shared a snap posing with her brother before they headed out. One Direction star Niall Horan was joined by his stunning girlfriend Amelia Woolley. Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood appeared at the event for the first time since stepping back as a commentator and now acting as guest.

She has traditionally provided weather updates throughout the Championships yet will be absent from screens after stepping down from her role on BBC Breakfast in April following a 28 year career in the field

The opera star, 46, looked gorgeous in a white and blue polka dot dress for the sunny day in SW19. David, 51, was joined by his mother Sandra, and the two were seated feet away from each other. In a series of leaked emails published in 2017, David was alleged to have slammed Katherine and questioned why she was awarded an OBE amid his own failure to secure a knighthood.
