David Ayer has signed on to direct Heart of the Beast, a film about a former Navy SEAL and his combat dog trying to return to civilization after an accident in Alaska. Ayer has previously directed movies such as Harsh Times, Street Kings, End of Watch, Sabotage, and Fury.
Ayer has signed on to direct Heart of the Beast, which will be produced by Whiplash and La La Land’s. The story follows a former Navy SEAL and his retired combat dog who attempt to return to civilization after a catastrophic accident deep in the Alaska n wilderness. Ayer will produce Heart of the Beast alongside Chris Long. The script comes from Cameron Alexander, who also serves as an executive producer. Richard Raymond is co-producing the film.
