In a spoiler-filled interview, the star-slash-creator of the FX comedy and his real-life hype man tells THR how the season finale explored the costs of ambition, the reason behind Dave's big decision and whether they really killed off that A-list guest star.
It’s a “Ha! They got Brad Pitt to do a cameo!” moment — except, it’s not. He’s actually one of the leads of the episode, playing a version of himself who’s considering exploring music and comes over to Dave’s house to record only to become trapped in a hostage situation with a stalker.
