Host comedian Nate Bargatze continues to lean into big “who am I?” energy.
Honestly, it’s the most obvious joke out there, so someone had to make it.
In one of the other fresh promos, Hernández gets a bit ahead of himself by delivering excited comments in Spanish about being emotional during a week of multiculturalism where the cast canas English. “Sorry man, that was last week,” Bargatze, 44, breaks it to him. Things don’t get any better in the third video, where Hernández praises Bargatze’s stand-up prowess, but gets no love in return.
While Bargatze’s run-up to his first hosting gig has leaned into big “who is this guy?” energy, the Grammy-nominated veteran Nashville comic has five comedy albums to his name, as well as a number of streaming specials, including 2019’s.
