Dave Chappelle reveals he spoke to man, 23, who attacked him on stage in LA
High-profile celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian and Chris Rock, also attended. They were also a part of Chappelle's lineup for Tuesday's show. The funnyman spent most of his set reportedly talking about the infamous attack, joking with Rock that 'at least you got hit by someone of repute'.
Rock, who joined Chappelle on stage on Tuesday and Thursday, replied back: 'I got smacked by the softest n***a that ever rapped'. Rock famously got slapped by Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars over a GI Jane joke he made toward Smith's wife Jada Pinkett-Smith. Chappelle also revealed he asked the LAPD to speak to his attacker Isaiah Lee, 23, after the attack, saying: 'I needed to talk to him'.
