The top cop of Davao Region expects no resistance from the supporters of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy in the implementation of the Senate’s arrest warrant against the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

“We are ready for any eventuality, but I believe the peaceful citizens of Davao at ang mga follower ni Pastor Quiboloy will remain calm and behaved,” Police Brigadier General Alden Delvo, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 11, told GMA Integrated News in a phone interview on Thursday.Two days after the arrest order was released, the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms has yet to coordinate with the Davao police, Delvo said.

“Hinihintay namin ang official transmittal from the Senate through the Sergeant-at-Arms with regards to the warrant of arrest of Pastor Quiboloy,” according to Delvo.“The PNP will just be assisting them ‘pag dumating na sila dito sa Davao, according to Delvo, adding that only a small police team will be deployed to provide assistance to the Senate enforcers.
