Adams requested a trade out of Las Vegas on Monday, and the Raiders have called teams about a trade for the superstar wide receiver.
Adams is in the third-year of a five-year, $140 million contract he signed after a trade from the Green Bay Packers in 2022. Over the next two years of the contract, Adams has cap hits and base salaries reaching well over $35 million each season. Any team that would trade for Adams will want to restructure that contract or Adams is essentially a rental player.in any trade for Adams. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Adams prefers to play for the New York Jets or New Orleans Saints because he would like to play with a quarterback he knows. Adams played with Saints quarterback Derek Carr in their college days at Fresno State and spent eight seasons with Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay.
He has 18 receptions for 209 receiving yards and one touchdown.
