Up for something special tonight?
Loved it—especially how quickly it comes together. Elevated flavors, but approachable enough for a weeknight.Delightful…and easy! Followed recipe except I used pecans from pantry . Pork was perfectly cooked, tender & juicy. Worked wonderfully with salad. Thought I burned the nuts but flavors melded nicely. And presentation was lovely.
It was hard to tell when the mess was "browned," but after a couple of minutes I threw in some mirin to deglaze . Then I added maple syrup, lemon juice and salt and tasted. OMG it was delicious! I adjusted the seasoning a bit and it was perfect. I have no doubt that the dish would have been even better if I had followed it, but even with my mistakes it was easy and wonderful! The combination of flavors is amazing!This was excellent! I followed the recipe exactly.
