DeGeneres abruptly canceled a number of her stand-up tour dates earlier this year as she revealed her tour may be the last chance for fans to see her. DeGeneres took a 15-year hiatus before the release of her prior special, Relatable, which was nominated for a Grammy after its release in 2018. Prior to that, she put out the specials The Beginning and Here and Now, both of which were for HBO and garnered multiple Emmy nominations.
