While McBride’s arrival for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 2 has indeed been announced, at least one fan wonders if Carol might not make her return a little sooner, imagining the big reunion happening at a key location in the season 1 finale. Check out the art below : The artwork depicts Carol and Daryl getting together at the location dubbed “The Nest,” which is in fact the island village of Mont-Saint-Michel, Normandy, where a group of zombie apocalypse survivors has come together to form a community.
Will The Nest Be A True Safe Haven For Carol And Daryl? It remains to be seen exactly how Carol and Daryl’s reunion will take place, but ahead of the season finale, Daryl is in the clutches of frightening new Walking Dead universe villain Genet, while Carol is presumed to still be back in America.
It is therefore possible that Daryl and Carol’s reunion could happen in the final episode of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 1, titled “Coming Home.” What might take place after that is yet to be seen, but given the TWD universe’s history, it’s very possible that the seeming safe haven of The Nest will turn out to be anything but.
