There are many who would argue that it isn't even the prime candidate from the Dark Souls roster for a remaster, if one were to happen, with many favoring the oft-maligned second game in the series. We'd Rather Have New FromSoftware Games The fact is that remasters and remakes are only likely to get you so far with the fans, and the thing that they really want is exciting new releases. Bethesda are the most obvious example of this, with the Oblivion remaster proving very popular, but not really dampening calls for more news on the next games in the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series.
