The 32-year-old cornerback said his goodbyes to the team on Wednesday as he is set to be released.
Jennifer Slay, the wife of Darius Slay, said farewell to Philadelphia on March 15, 2023.“It’s been real Philly!!! It’s all love,” she wrote.
Married since 2018, Jennifer has supported Slay throughout his NFL career, which began with the Lions in 2013. The five-time Pro Bowler was traded to the Eagles in 2020 and most recently was a part of the team’s Super Bowl 2023 roster.Jennifer Slay has supported Darius Slay at Eagles games throughout their time in Philadelphia.Jennifer celebrated the Eagles’ NFC Championship win in January ahead of their clash against the Chiefs in Arizona., to which Slay replied, “Yes ma’am … it’s go time.”, 38-35.
In the days following the loss, Slay reflected on his 10th year in the league in a social media post.“Yr10 in the books… one of my best seasons I’ve play. Appreciate my guys for making this captain life easy🙏🏾 #flyeaglesfly YR11 go be special,”
