Michael Gandolfini has been tapped for a key role in Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.
Gandolfini is expected to portray the character of Liam, an ambitious man from Staten Island. This marks his first high-profile TV project since appearing as a recurring cast member in the last two seasons of the HBO dramais described as an 18-episode revival of the original Netflix series, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of leading stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as they reprise their respective roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Both characters made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with Kingpin guest-starring in the. Cox also recently guest-starred in two episodes ofDaredevil: Born Again hails from head writers Matt Corman and Chris Ord, who will also serve as executive producers along with Kevin Feige. The series will stream on Disney+ in the spring of 2024.
