BUTTERWORTH, July 30 — DAP provided assurances today that it will not permit any re-amendments to the Penang state constitution two-term limit for the chief minister’s post.
“I don’t know who made the suggestion but obviously DAP will not allow it to happen,” he told reporters after officiating the Pakatan Harapan operations centre for Perai constituency here today. The Penang state legislative assembly had passed an amendment to the state constitution limiting the chief minister to two terms of service.
