But keep in mind, it's expected to be around 97 degrees here.
The parade chair told ABC7 earlier Thursday morning that they decided to move forward with the parade despite the heat since it's happening a bit earlier in the day.Paradegoers are being urged to bring lots of water, snacks, a blanket to sit on, hats, sunscreen and sunglasses. It's also a good reminder to leave your pets at home as the pavement may be too hot for them.
