Mike Tannenbaum does not believe Aaron Rodgers has been the best quarterback in New York so far this season.
Tannenbaum, who was the GM of the Jets from 2006-12, appeared on ESPN ’s “ Sports Center” on Wednesday alongside Christine Williamson and Jason McCourty, to react to Aaron Rodgers ’ segment on “The Pat McAfee Show” where the quarterbackshould motivate the Jets players to execute better, Tannenbaum said that Saleh’s firing was merited before pivoting to how the 2-3 Jets can improve from here.
“Well, there certainly could be, but the bottom line is Aaron Rodgers needs to play better,” Tannenbaum said.
