The Leeds United boss has heaped praise on his summer signing Glen Kamara as the Finland international gets up to speed
Daniel Farke has refused to play down the influence Glen Kamara has had on his Leeds United squad since arriving from Rangers in the summer. The Finland international had been training by himself at the Scottish Premiership side but the Whites boss was keen on adding his quality in the Leeds engine room.
"I think in general we have a really young squad and many young players when you look at our average age in the starting line-up," Farke said. "It's important to have some experienced players and Glen, we don't have to speak about his CV he's played for a big club in Rangers where there's lots of pressure to win more or less every game in the league."He's a proven Finland international with more than 50 caps already, he was involved in many battles.
"He's pretty much involved in each and every joke the lads have in the dressing room. He's a great guy to have around and we're happy to have him." "We have in this position, in the heart of the game, we need some experience," Farke added. "We have a very young lad in Archie Gray, Jamie Shackleton can also play in this position at a young age.
