Former BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker says he hopes the 'relentless hounding' of Phillip Schofield
Former BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker says he hopes the "relentless hounding" of Phillip Schofield will stop as the fallout from his affair continues. The former ITV host was forced to leave This Morning after he admitted lying to his colleagues and management agency about having a relationship with a younger man who worked on the programme.
Speaking to the BBC, Phillip said: "Do you want me to die? Because that is where I am. I have lost everything."My daughters saved my life...they haven't left me for a moment. They have been by my side every moment because they are scared to let me out of their sight...if my girls hadn't been there, I wouldn't be here because I don't see a future."
"I also hope the relentless hounding from some elements of the media stops. People are clearly on the edge."
