Seeing a contingent of football players return to the team following a state championship win last Friday night, the Crusaders battled back from a fourth-quarter deficit to beat Steel-High 67-61.Max Henderson and Pat Denisco also had nice nights with 13 and 11 points respectively, while football star Dominic Diaz-Ellis chipped in with 9 points.Game-deciding moments
After trading buckets, Diaz-Ellis would drain a clutch 3-pointer to put the Crusaders up 57-54, but Alquan Johnson would nail a 3 right back to even up the score.
