Mirren, who is in isolation in Lake Tahoe on the border of California and Nevada, also shared a donation link. The Intensive Care Society in England is in need of funds to help healthcare professionals on the frontline right now amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
From providing mental health assistance to offering support for patients who survive and for relatives of those they cannot save, it’s a small ask for a big cause.Like fellow celebrities – such as James McAvoy, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke – Mirren’s use of social media to raise awareness is proving to be instrumental. Due to Mirren’s top negotiating skills the donations will rise – and so, too will everyone’s spirits.
