'So write to your MP, ask them for a free vote, let's get a really kind law passed that gives people choice.' Last year Esther, who presented the BBC television series That's Life! for 21 years, revealed she had joined Dignitas, the assisted dying clinic in Switzerland.But despite the enormous personal risk, Rebecca said that she would help her mother attend a Dignitas clinic.
Pleading with politicians to speed up the process in creating a law which 'gives people choice', Rebecca got emotional which triggered host Robert Rinder to also well up Speaking about her mother's finally wish she urged politicians to 'please make this possible for her.'
