Dalpark FC had to dig deep to come back and beat Boksburg Pirates FC 6-2 in an intense match on March 5.
The exciting Central Football Association Superleague match took place at the WJ Clements Stadium in Reiger Park.
The goals came from Boksburg’s link-up play that unlocked the defence of Dalpark. After the two goals, Dalpark regrouped and played more offensive football, leading to a goal scored by defender Dean Mohanilal before the half-time whistle. But Boksburg still led 2-1 going into half-time Boksburg, under pressure, made mistakes at the back and Dalpark punished them through a free-kick headed by Owethu Mkhonto into the goalposts. Dalpark turned things around and led the match for the first time 3-2.
