Trammell praised the Wings for keeping their high morale as they head into the second round of the WNBA Playoffs.
Sabally had a phenomenal WNBA regular season, finishing in the top 10 in both scoring and rebounding.
After coming off two straight seasons with injuries – this was the first year Sabally said she was pain free, and it liberated not only her but her gameplay. Sabally was simply – balling out this year! She was the queen of double-doubles at 14, which was fifth-most in the league this season and also recorded her first-career triple-double in July 2023 against the Washington Mystics.
“I think what you saw from Satou this year is just the very beginnings of scratching the surface of what she's going to become in our league, which is I think an all-time great player,” Bibb continued.
