Rain has brought cooler temperatures to the Dallas-Fort Worth area this Labor Day weekend, a pattern that will continue until midweek.

Those showers are expected to continue, with about a 50% chance of rain Monday and Tuesday and a 30% chance on Wednesday.Scattered showers and storms continue through the first half of the week, with locally heavy rainfall and possibly some minor flooding west of I-35. Rain amounts will taper off to the east.
