Dry conditions and above-normal temperatures are lingering as this October hasn't had any rain.

The last recorded amount of rain in the area was Sept. 25 with a reported 0.1 inches of rain at DFW International Airport and 1.08 inches at Dallas Love Field, according to data from the National Weather Service.The chance for the dry streak ending likely won’t be until at least the end of next week, according to a Thursday weather service advisory.A pattern change late next week is what will cause a high chance for measurable rain, though the uncertainty is high on that forecast right now.

Warm and breezy conditions are lingering throughout North Texas for the next several days with highs in the 80s and 90s.
