Dallas County is under a flood watch parts of Sunday and Monday as rainy weather and storms are expected to linger the entire week.

The strongest of the storms are expected to occur south of Dallas-Fort Worth in Central Texas where a severe thunderstorm watch is place until 3 p.m. Sunday.The National Weather Service in Fort Worth issued a flood watch for areas near and south of Interstate 20, including Dallas County.
The highest severe threat, with possible large hail and gusty winds, will be near and east Interstate 35. The tornado threat is low but not zero, the weather service warned.Tuesday may provide a brief break from the rain but chances for thunderstorms returns to Dallas-Fort Worth on Wednesday and Thursday.
High temperatures in Dallas are predicted to range in the 80s the entire week, peaking at 88 on Wednesday. Lows should remain in the 60s. Widespread showers/storms are expected today. Hail up to 1" in diameter will be possible with any stronger storms. Otherwise, heavy rain and flooding will be the main concern, and a Flood Watch remains in effect for areas near and south of I-20. Don't drive through flooded roads! Cloudy with a 30% chance of showers and storms in the early morning. Decreasing clouds during the afternoon. Low: 67. High: 83. Wind: W 10 mph. Mostly sunny and warm.
