A new state-of-the-art multisport facility, RYSE Energy StarCenter Multisport Farmers Branch, has opened in Farmers Branch, Texas, offering a range of athletic opportunities for youth.
A new 81,000-square-foot facility designed to serve over 50,000 young athletes annually has opened its doors in Farmers Branch . The Dallas Stars and the City of Farmers Branch officially unveiled RYSE Energy StarCenter Multisport Farmers Branch , a versatile athletic complex situated next to Children’s Health StarCenter Farmers Branch .
The grand opening ceremony featured notable attendees such as Farmers Branch Mayor Terry Lynne, Lee Lewis Construction Executive Vice President Ty Parsons, and other distinguished figures.“We are incredibly excited to officially open our multisport facility in Farmers Branch,” expressed Brad Alberts, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Mayor Lynne and the City of Farmers Branch have been exceptional partners in shaping a shared vision for creating a one-of-a-kind athletic space that caters to individuals of all ages. As the demand for our multisport facilities continues to rise, the Stars are dedicated to expanding our organization’s presence throughout the Lone Star State.” According to facility management, the space can accommodate up to eight basketball courts or a maximum of 16 volleyball courts simultaneously, adaptable to the specific sporting events scheduled for the day. The facility now welcomes Texas Advantage Volleyball (TAV), one of the most reputable club volleyball organizations in the United States, as its resident team. Mayor Lynne emphasized, “Farmers Branch is proud to collaborate with the Dallas Stars in opening the StarCenter Multisport facility, which will serve as a hub for youth sports in North Texas and bolster community engagement.” She added, “The inauguration of this cutting-edge complex epitomizes the City's dedication to providing world-class amenities, nurturing athletic excellence, teamwork, and fostering community connections for families in Farmers Branch and the surrounding region.” This facility marks the second multisport complex under the Dallas Stars’ umbrella of athletic facilities, complementing the eight Children’s Health StarCenters dispersed across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. In October 2022, the Stars acquired RYSE Energy StarCenter Multisport at The MAC in Lewisville, signifying their initial foray into the multisport arena
