Dallas police responding to shooting involving officer in Pleasant Grove

Dallas police said the department is investigating a shooting involving an officer at a Pleasant Grove motel on Wednesday morning. In a tweet just before 11 a.m., police said the department was responding to an officer-involved shooting in the 9600 block of C.F. Hawn Freeway.Dozens of police vehicles blocked the frontage road near South St. Augustine Drive shortly before noon. Officers could be seen huddled in the shade outside the Red Crown Inn.No additional information was immediately available, including whether it was an officer or someone else who fired a weapon or whether anyone was injured.
