Attorney Robert Rogers, who represents both officers in the administrative matters, said they intend to appeal their terminations.“When we’re right, regardless of the outside noise, we’re right,” García said. “But when we are wrong, we will hold ourselves accountable.”on a charge of disorderly conduct by displaying a firearm in public.
Rozell was fired by García for his most recent arrest and for failing to secure police equipment in an unoccupied personal vehicle and being intoxicated in public view, according to the email sent to Dallas police employees. He had been with Dallas police since April 2013 and was assigned to the South Central Patrol Division.on a charge of driving while intoxicated while off-duty.
