A Dallas Police Department employee was arrested Saturday on a charge of family violence, officials say. Jennifer Hannon worked as a 911 call taker and was off-duty at the time of the arrest, said a Sunday news release from Dallas police.Hannon was arrested by Arlington police. Online records showed Hannon’s arresting charge as assault causing bodily injury, amily violence.” The charge is a misdemeanor, Dallas police said.Arlington police’s online records did not show Hannon as currently in custody. It is not clear when she was released or if she has an attorney.
