Interim City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert is vying for the permanent job as Dallas’ top administrative official along with three external candidates.
Dallas’ city manager is the municipal government’s top administrative official overseeing the city’s day-to-day operations, with more than 13,000 full-time employees and a $4.97 billion budget. The city manager is appointed by and reports directly to the City Council.Dallas is looking for a successor to former city manager T.C. Broadnax, who announced his resignation in February.
