Dallas enters the game as a healthier team for what feels like the first time this season
The Dallas Mavericks head east to play the Washington Wizards on Thursday night, with the two teams heading in opposite directions just a quarter of the way into the season. Washington hasn't won a game since October, while Dallas has won nine of their last ten games, including their last five in a row.
Dallas is also seemingly the healthier team for what feels like the first time this year. Washington has five players already ruled out with injury and two more listed as questionable, while the Mavs are down to two players on the injury report. The Mavs will be without Naji Marshall and Dante Exum in this game. Marshall is dealing with an upper respiratory infection that forced him to miss Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies and sit out the second half against Portland on Sunday.
Washington will be without Kyle Kuzma , Corey Kispert , Saddiq Bey , Kyshawn George , and Tristan Vukcevic , while Malcolm Brogdon and Patrick Baldwin Jr. are questionable to play.Austin Veazey joined NoleGameday as the Lead Basketball Writer in 2019, while contributing as a football writer, and started as editor for MavericksGameday in 2024.
