He said internal surveys show that more Texans are opting to drive over fly.Alex Danza, CEO and founder of Vonlane “People still would prefer, if they can, to avoid going to the airport and dealing with the challenges of air travel,” Danza said.
The route goes from Vonlane’s Dallas terminal at the Doubletree Hotel across from Dallas Love Field to its San Antonio terminal at the DoubleTree Northwest. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $139 one-way or $278 roundtrip. Vonlane said it has been “well-received by business travelers, such as attorneys, accountants, lobbyists and other service providers.” The company reported it has returned to 95% pre-pandemic capacity in summer 2022 and continues to expand.
