A cold front also moving through North Texas on Thursday should drop the temperature by multiple degrees later in the day.The predicted high temperatures throughout Dallas-Fort Worth for Friday were up to five degrees below average for a normal May 10, according to historical data.
Another round of scattered storms are expected to develop near and along a stationary boundary this afternoon and evening. Some storms will likely become severe. The primary threats are very large hail and damaging wind gusts.Mostly cloudy and cool with a 40% chance of a shower and storm. Low: 62. High: 75. Wind: SE 10-15 mph.The high temperature recorded Wednesday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport tied the daily record set in 1933, according to the National Weather Service.
