Kurian holds the highest number of patents filed for Bank of America, with about 400 filed since 2014.Manu Kurian, a tech executive at Bank of America, attended a required internal training session in 2014 that taught employees how to file a patent.
“It’s a testament to the ease of the process at Bank of America,” said Kurian, who works out of the Addison office. Bank of America said its increase in patents was driven by blockchain, payment, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
