“It’s an excellent tool,” McCarthy said. “I’ve been very impressed with it. Obviously on the origin and the research that goes into it and I think [Cowboys vice president player personnel]and our staff, we have a very strong connection over there. Actually, they came in and did some work in-house here.
“So yeah, it’s another tool. It’s another tool in the evaluation. But I think just like anything, I know as a coach, you don’t want to get too far away from the video. I mean the personality, the emotional IQ, the mental IQ, the football IQ, all of those things are important, so I think anytime you can gather more information, it’s helpful.”
