New: Dallas County medical examiner, gunman killed in murder-suicide identified
The two people killed in a murder-suicide at the Dallas County medical examiner’s office Tuesday afternoon were identified by authorities Wednesday., the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said Beth Frost, 46, and James Frost, 51, were found dead of apparent gunshot wounds in a second-floor office in the building at 2355 N. Stemmons Freeway, near Wycliff Avenue, in the Stemmons Corridor.
James Frost, who went by “Jed,” played basketball for the University of Missouri from 1990 to 1994, and later was a teacher and basketball coach at Odessa High School and Park Hill South High School near Kansas City, according to a 2013 article frommagazine. He stayed involved with the sport at the college level at Iowa State University and the University of Hawaii.
The grounds for divorce detailed in the filing said the marriage had become “insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Beth and Jed that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.” The filing also said Beth believed Jed would enter into agreements for both access to their children and their estate.Lawsuit alleges couple owed more than $200,000
