A Dallas County court will consider granting a temporary injunction against the owners of Hillcrest Apartments on Friday afternoon after the city of Mesquite demanded the complex remedy the widespread heat outages that have plagued residents for years.on Thursday that shortly after inspectors documented widespread heat outages at Hillcrest during the winter storm late last month, the city filed a temporary restraining order against owners CC Hillcrest LLC, Summit Hillcrest Apartments Ltd.
Paschall said the city will ask the judge on Friday to expand the injunction to include other health safety matters, including hot water and air conditioning outages.
