Dallan Hayden led the Buckeyes in rushing while filling in for an injured teammate.
Hayden saw minimal action against Arkansas State last Saturday. He had 13 receiving yards and rushed for the same number of net yards. However, those minimal numbers weren’t alarming to the Ohio State staff. They trusted his abilities and knew that Hayden had only provided them with a sneak peak of what he could do in a game.
“Coach Alford looked at me and said ‘alright, get ready to go in,’” Hayden said. “So, I stayed by him and he put me in.” “I made sure to realize that all the practice and preparation led up to this point,” Hayden said. “I practice against the best-of-the-best in the country. So, I felt like, if I could practice against these guys, I could go against anyone.”
