Fans who tuned into the South Carolina 400 for nostalgia were treated to the ultimate dose, as Dale Earnhardt Jr. ran the No. 8 Budweiser Chevy.
The South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway was the setting for the reunion of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his legendary red Budweiser No. 8 scheme on Saturday night. Florence reported a sellout for Saturday night as fans flooded in to watch Earnhardt compete against the best of the CARS Tour for 400 laps. With a full field of cars, stands of fans, and large audiences watching over FloSports' Broadcast, information out of the track trickled as Earnhardt worked his way up the field.
'Diaz doesn't know what else Jones needs after being suspended by NASCAR, adding that the driver had a 'few screws loose'. When the race restarted, Earnhardt continued his march to the front and by the halfway 10-minute pit stop break, he was in second place behind Treyten Lapcevich. Earnhardt passed his former driver, NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Josh Berry, to take second.
