Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett have joined the Verity cast for the upcoming thriller movie, which hails from Amazon MGM Studios.
, the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling psychosexual thriller novel. Johnson is set to portray a writer named Lowen Ashleigh, while Hartnett will play Jeremy Crawford. In addition, Johnson will also serve as an executive producer on the project., who has signed on for the titular role of Verity Crawford. The film will be directed by Michael Showalter from a screenplay written by Nick Antosca.
“Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford , husband of best-selling thriller author Verity Crawford , has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series that his wife is unable to finish after a mysterious accident,” reads the official synopsis.
