Dakota Johnson opened her Saturday Night Live appearance by joking about her highly publicized breakups with musicians and revealing details about how she wrote her new song Patient Zero. She also discussed her friendship with Taylor Swift and confirmed that she and Machine Gun Kelly began dating after meeting at Swift's wedding.
“What else has happened since last time I hosted ? I went through two very public, very lame breakups with two very awesome musicians,” Johnson, 37, teased during“But all of them are in my DMs,” she quipped to huge applause.
“It’s not my fault though. Some people leave concerts with merch and I leave concerts with a two-and-a-half year relationship. ”Taylor Swift is opening up about exactly what inspired her to write her new song “Patient Zero.
” “The story behind me writing the song ‘Patient Zero’ is that I was hanging out with a bunch of friends, and one of my friends told us that she had been reached out to by the new girlfriend Swift, 36, then showed up to concur that Johnson does have very “supportive” friends though the singer-songwriter drew a line when the“I’m not your therapist, actually,” Swift clarified.

'” The “Cleveland” singer added that most of Johnson’s visits end with her drinking some Pedialyte before Swift’s security team “drives home. ” Johnson interjected, “While we’re on the subject of musicians, I think actually I’m doing a public service by dating them because, ladies, I’m saving you a lot of money on Zoloft. You’re welcome, America! And also England.

Meanwhile, Johnson and Swift have been hanging out a lot lately.
