Celebrity makeup artist Nikki Wolff is leaning into it—pulling from the romanticism of the Normal People and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof to create Edgar-Jones's current beauty look, which she's calling “soft focus tonal beauty.
“Since this mimics a natural flush, it creates a youthful, fresh effect,” Wolff says. It's reminiscent of last year's boyfriend blush trend. The eyes were kept very natural—with just a hint of contour and a few individual lashes, and she defined her full pout with a soft brown lip liner and a balmy nude lipstick. Wolff’s top tip? Blend, blend, blend! Until you’re as soft focus as a sepia-toned Polaroid from summer’s gone by.
