Stanley Kotowski, 60, and his family were over a thousand miles away from their home in Boston when he stepped out barefoot from his family's rental and disappeared, according to"Five in the morning, nine forty-five... he just walked out the door. He had, like, really bad insomnia for about a month. This is like, a brand new thing. He doesn't have dementia. His anxiety just kept getting worse and worse and worse. And he started to get a little paranoid.
Police added that the Kotowski's body "was recovered from underneath the home at about 3:30 p.m. this afternoon.”It remains unclear what exactly alerted police to the residence where the victim was found.
